Trans.eu Auto-Reply Bot
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This policy describes how the Trans.eu Auto-Reply Bot Chrome extension is designed to handle information. It is an internal productivity tool intended to assist authorized freight-forwarding users with conversations and freight information on supported platforms, including Trans.eu and TIMOCOM.
Information the extension can access
To provide its functionality, the extension can access relevant contents of supported web pages, such as freight offers, routes, chat messages and details visible on those pages. These may contain business contact names, message contents, transport details or other personal information that appears in the user's work environment. It can also handle extension settings, templates and user-selected configuration.
How information is used
Information is used to assist with freight-forwarding workflows, extract relevant context, prepare responses, apply configured templates or rules, and keep the extension working as configured. Browser storage may be used for extension preferences and configuration.
External services and data transfers
The extension supports integrations with Google Apps Script and Google Sheets. Depending on its configuration and the enabled workflow, information may be transmitted to configured external endpoints to retrieve settings or process work-related content. Such processing may involve the providers that host those endpoints. Users and administrators should avoid entering information not needed for the workflow.
Retention and control
Extension preferences may remain in browser storage until they are cleared or the extension is removed. Information sent to configured external services is subject to the retention and access settings of those services and the organization administering them. Authorized administrators should review and manage those settings.
Security and access
The extension is intended for authorized internal users. Access to supported websites and integrated services is controlled separately by those providers and the organization's own accounts and permissions. Do not include passwords, API secrets or sensitive credentials in configuration that other users can access.
Your choices
You may disable or remove the extension through Chrome's extension settings. For access, correction or deletion requests concerning information stored by integrated services, contact the administrator who provided access to the extension.
Contact
For privacy questions about this extension, contact the project maintainer through the repository issue tracker (do not post sensitive or personal data in public issues).
Policy changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the extension's functionality or handling of information. The latest version will be available on this page.
